The Dance Company "CHOREFTES" was founded in 1993 by choreographers and dance teachers Maria Anthymidou, Aliki Kazouri and Michalis Nalbantis. The aim of the dancers, musicians and costume designers who work with company is to promote the art of dance in Greece. In an effort to expand beyond the limits of the contemporary dance scene in Greece, the company has participated in many international projects. In the past few years, CHOREFTES are exploring the relationship between dance and new technologies. Their innovative productions have opened up new ways of expression in the field of contemporary dance.
