Sudden Space
Conflicting
Spaces
Every
group-type has to encounter not only with the space in a psychological
level but with the rest of the groups as well while creating its
own behavior and its own data inside the space. The performance
reflects an experience and gives a psychological approach to the
modern virtual spaces and their alternative prospects.
Groups
:
1st group Newcomers-NC
2nd group
Outlanders-OL
3rd group Inlander-IL
Multiple
Spaces
Three
groups of dancers representing three group-types are exploring and
experience the space.
The first group (NC) choreographed by M.
Nalbantis consists of three non identical personalities, newcomers
into the warlike space they are militate against it and they enclave
in it.
The second group (OL) choreographed by A.
Kazouri consists of identical personalities, replicas, they
are outlanders too but they internalize the fear they experience
blindness.
The third group (IL) choreographed by M.
Anthymidou, consists of one person only, who lives inside its
own concrete space, the space of the performance but also the imaginary
space of the intruders.
Virtual
Spaces -
Dance coexists with Technology.
The
space, a virtual 3D space, visible to the eyes of the audience only
with special glasses it's not just the setting. It's a lively pulsing
space, having an influence on the dancers while it's changing the
conditions and the field of action. A
space that changes, that is being extended to all directions even
towards the audience expanding the relation between them and the
performance. Three
choreographers, three choreographies are functioning like three
different approaches, three behaviors into the same space.
